This is a traditional hands-on cooking experience that will leave you a bit more “Caprese” than before. This cooking class will take place in the charming are near the port of Capri: a Caprese family will open their home and you’ll be welcomed in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
Our cooking experience highlights the simplicity of local ingredients, traditional cooking methods, family recipes and some secrets that have been passed down from generation to generation and that will become part of your story too.
Just a few minutes walk from the Porto of Capri, a refreshing aperitivo will be waiting for you: a traditional Italian way to welcome guests.
The wine selection offered is the result of a meticulous research of regional natural wine producers.
During this Capri’s traditional cooking class you will learn how to make stuffed Ravioli Capresi from scratch, using organic flour and locally sourced produce.
Then you will prepare the famous “Parmigiana”, eggplant parmesan a tasty dish from the local tradition. Learn how to make our family version of the Caprese lemon cake straight from the family cookbook.
A tasting of locally sourced artisanal cheese is included: Caciotta Sorrentina, organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and the family’s organic vinegar made from Piedirosso grapes.
Enjoy everything you prepared, paired with a selection of regional natural wine. The dessert is paired with a local liquor.

On request at the time of booking, you can choose an alternative “Pasta cooking classes” that includes preparation of three types of pasta: Tagliatelle, Ravioli and Gnocchi.
