Pompeii is vast area and also very exposed, with minimal shade, so it is recommended to use a sunscreen and to wear a hat. Make sure to take plenty of water.

Private Transfer to Pompeii, with pick up from one of the town of the Amalfi Coast (Positano, Amalfi, Praiano, Ravello, Conca dei Marini, Furore, Agerola, Minori, Maiori), as well as Sorrento or Naples.
*Please confirm your pick-up point at the time of booking: travelers must comunicate the address/hotel of pick-up located in one of the town/area we serve. Our driver will meet and pick up the travelers at the address provided, when reachable by car/van. Alternatively we'll define a pick up point as close as possible to the address/hotel provided by the travelers. The exact location of pick-up will be communicated well in advance.

The winery is located within the Vesuvius National Park: the visit to the vineyards and the terrace where the wine and food tasting take place, offer a stunning view on Sorrento Coast, Capri Island, Pompei and the the Vesuvius itself.
Enjoy 3 types of wine all paired with traditional food in a delicious lunch that includes 1 antipasti (bruschetta with fresh tomatoes, local salami, organic vegetables, provolone cheese DOP, homemade casatiello), 1 main courses, pasta with fresh tomato sauce, and a homemade dessert. You'll enjoy the Lacryma Christi, a wine made by native grapes of Caprettone, Falanghina, Piedirosso and Aglianico. Lacryma Christithe literally "tears of Christ", has been produced since Ancient Roman times and all the vines of the vineyards you'll visit grow on volcanic soil with distintive properties and taste of the wine.
An extra virgin olive oil tasting and walk through the vineyards is also included.

Excellent excursion. Very well organised with pick up and drive . Easy entry with an excellent and very knowledgeable guide who paced the visit very well. Winery Sorrentini on the foothills of Vesuvius was excellent with wine tasting ( Lacrima Cristi) and food. Walk to the crater was interesting and not too demanding. Our driver overcame a GPS misdirection with incredible skill to get us there on time.
