The city was buried under 16 meters of ash during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD: this thick layer of rubbles and aches has preserved intact the domus homes with the internal architecture and décor, including decorations, jewellery as well as some organic remains like food. This give us the opportunity to have a clear view of the daily lives of the ancient population of Herculaneum.

You'll enjoy the Lacryma Christi, a wine made by native grapes of Caprettone, Falanghina, Piedirosso and Aglianico.
